YOGA POSE BREAKDOWN:
Sanskrit: Balasana (Bala = Child & Asana = Pose)
An active pose that allows you to rest in between postures. There are a few variations, but one of my favorite ways of enjoying this pose is by taking a blanket between your legs and bum to allow those with tight hamstrings to rest into the posture. It adds just enough to bring that extra comfort!
This new series will breakdown some of the most popular yoga poses you will see in most yoga sequences. Learning to do the individual pose correctly as well as how to modify the pose for your body or create more challenges for those who are more advanced will make your yoga practice more fun allowing you to experience the true benefits of yoga and most importantly prevent injury at the same time.
