On March 26th, 1998, thirteen-year-old Tristan Brübach went to school (in the Höchst district of Frankfurt). He had tried to skip class, telling both his father and his teachers that he needed to see a doctor, but he would be in-attendance for most of the school day.
Early that afternoon, Tristan would be granted an early release (by school officials) to see a doctor. Using public transportation, Tristan headed to a nearby train station... where - bizarrely - he ended up sitting around for several hours. Classmates would later recall that he might have been waiting for someone.
Hours later - in the early evening - the body of Tristan Brübach would be found in a nearby underpass. He had become the victim of a bizarre and savage killer, who has not been identified in the 20+ years since...
