Some of us really welcome change.  Others of us are really uncomfortable with change.  And still others of us really want to control the change so that they can embrace it safely.

Many will not let go of their old understanding of God, because its too dangerous to contemplate a bigger, freer God than they have922 now.  (“I don’t really believe in God, but I’m afraid to let go entirely.”)  Something I discovered is that the God of my understanding does not fit into a box.  Early in my studies I found that just when I thought I knew what God was, God went and changed on me.  God got bigger and bigger until God became bigness itself.  As hard as I try to limit God, It will not be limited.  It’s the same with defining Love, it can’t be done. 

Life changes with each thought we have.  The world shape-shifts with each thought.  How do you think your keys suddenly appear in the place you looked for them a few minutes ago?  How is it that we think of someone and they call?  How is it that we surrender our thoughts and we suddenly know things we didn’t know before and the path to joy is suddenly clear? 

Let us all welcome change and embrace the willingness to recognize God active and present in it.

Let’s affirm together, “The Superconscious Mind is awake in me now!”
