👱🏼‍♀️TARA: Growing up in Zimbabwe in Southern Africa, Tara spent her 20s indulging her passions working in the safari industry, and hanging out with chimpanzees and lions!

👨🏻‍🦰JOHN: Over the last 20 years, John has explored more than 160+ of the world’s 193 countries. More often than not, he did this on a shoestring budget, hitch-hiking and sleeping on doorsteps, in search of adventure!

👶🏼 BABY CRUSOE: Cheeky 16-month-old toddler, Crusoe, has already been to 23 countries across 4 continents - hanging out with meerkats and elephants along the way.

TRAVEL, VAN LIFE & HOMESTEAD RENOVATION

From world travel, to road-tripping Europe in their self-converted camper van, to off-roading in Africa, to an Epic US road trip, it's been a wild ride for @thenewbys. And now their latest adventure involves them restoring an old abandoned farm in Portugal, to turn it into a sustainable off-grid homestead with next to no experience.
