The Race Across America, more commonly referred to as RAAM, is known as the World's Toughest Bicycle Race. The route from Oceanside, California to Annapolis, Maryland traverses over 3,000 miles and climbs 175,000 feet across 12 states. On today's episode, we'll hear from Dustin Dinh, a dentist turned ultra cyclist who rode in the 2015 edition of RAAM.
We'll be covering what to do and what not to do out on the roads of RAAM, and we'll also be getting a glimpse into what it's like to crew for a RAAM racer from one of his crew members, Dawn Morgan Ellis. There's a whole lot of awesome ultra talk ahead, so grab an espresso and let's roll! 🚲💨--- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ultracyclingshow/support
