UIL gives fall guidance, Austin College suspends, and Kaitlin Kelley
First, listeners will notice us speculating on playing the Welcome to Texas Shootout as scheduled for September. News emerged on Wednesday that that tournament and two others have been cancelled.
Also, the UIL has provided guidance for its fall sports programs, relevant to water polo since so many clubs and high school teams utilize district facilities.
Austin College, meanwhile, has suspended its mens' season altogether after the Ivy League and CWPA did the same.
And a conversation with Kaitlin Kelley, Head Coach at St. Agnes Academy, former Iona standout, and Texas high school player of the year in 1999. She shares some history, some news about her program at St. Agnes, and admits (after some prodding) that she was good.
