Lalo is an Argentine-born American Pianist, composer, arranger, and conductor. He is best known for his large body of film and TV scores since the 1950's, including the theme song for "Mission Impossible", "Bullitt" and "Enter The Dragon" with Bruce Lee. He has received five Grammy Awards and 6 Oscar nominations, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, collaborations with Clint Eastwood, and so much more for his outstanding work.
Lalo is my client and friend and at age 86, he's full of wisdom and experience. In this interview, Lalo discusses the process of getting to write the "Mission Impossible" theme song that might be one of the top theme songs recognized of all time, lessons he learned training with Bruce Lee, and his most important recommendation for success in any area of your life....focus and practice.
This might be one of the most unique interviews on record with Lalo since he is a private and humble man. I hope you enjoy this interview as much as I did.
