How was it to work and coauthor a technical book/paper with someone legendary like him?

Do You think if BSD didn’t get hold up in court by ATT / Unix Systems Laboratories We would have BSD *FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD * where Linux is today and perhaps Linux did not even exist today as there would have been no gap on the market to fill which resulted L. Torvalds to write the Linux Kernel?
