Julie Snell is co-founder and principal at TEND landscape inc, a woman-owned landscape architecture firm in Philadelphia, and co-owner of Redbud Native Plant Nursery in Media, PA. Julie is also an adjunct instructor in the Department of Architecture and Environmental Design, Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Temple University. In these different roles, she positively impacts the environment either by bridging the gap between landscape design, installation, and maintenance at TEND or performing design consultations and informal educational sessions with homeowners at Redbud, or raising awareness of urban ecology in the classroom.
