Hey Path Hunters!

A couple of months ago in April, My friends Calvin Simpson & Filip Sierpinski attended an event in Toronto hosted by our mentor/friend Jay Wong from the Inner Change Maker Podcast. So we thought it be fun to stay together under one roof at an Airbnb in Toronto and record a 3-way podcast together. So this is the recording for  the Path Hunters podcast . 

Calvin, Filip and I are all from the same mastermind group and for most of 2016, I developed a great relationship with these 2 amazing rock stars, as they too are podcasters always going through similar journeys and paths. 

We spoke about many stuff in this recording, what each of us talk about in our own podcasts.

Why We All Took a Shot at Our Dreams!

We all chatted about why we all took a shot at our dreams and our reason for doing it. 

My reason (Paul) - was that I didn't want to waste 40 years of my life stuck in a cubical, and images of me in my final moments at 80 years wondering why I didn't take the leap of faith at my dreams.  

Filip's reason was regret, the feeling of regret and not taking a shot at his dreams far exceeded what he was currently doing at the time. So he didn't want to regret and wonder why he didn't take the shot. 

The Event We Went To & Tip On Networking

The speaker at the event was Jayson Gaignard speak on ‘How to Build a 7 Figure Business Through Networking’. but we touched base on tips on how to network. 

Networking events are typically a pretty fast pace environment and we all agreed that when going to these kinds of events, it's always good to make quick small talks and let the person you're speaking to know that this is a fast pace environment, let's catch up and set a date afterward because I'd like to meet everyone else. 

People would understand & agree, and this leaves the opportunity to trade contact information and continue to efficiently meet everyone else at the event.

We chatted about dealing with negative people in life your life. How we all have the same situation where we have people in our lives that are going through something, and as a friend naturally you want to help them but aren't able to because those people never asked for our help in the first place.
