We discuss how he began as a designer, developer, database administrator in 1999, and transformed into an SEO, what it’s like to do SEO and content on such a massive scale, how to teach and develop trust with larger teams of writers to optimize content the right way, how they identify and optimize for new trends in the marketplace. We also talk about how life can become really "real" sometimes and how Matt specifically managed to persevere after his son was born with a life-threatening heart defect.
