Tonight’s guest is author Tim Wendel. Tim was born and raised in Lockport, New York. He worked for the Buffalo Courier Express and USA Today; later on he has written articles for the New York Times, the Washington Post, GQ, and Esquire magazines.
Tim has published numerous critically acclaimed and award winning works: some dealing with sports like the 1980 U.S. Men’s Hockey Team which won the gold medal at Lake Placid; the 1968 Major League Baseball season, and NBA basketball. Tim has also written several novels, three of which deal with Cuba.
Today, Tim works as a writer in residence and lecturer at Johns Hopkins University in Maryland.
