You do not have to be a perfect personal development student.
I have seen this time and time again;
You learn about an area of personal development (mindset, health, productivity, etc)
You immediately go into all or nothing mode trying to do EVERYTHING you're hearing and learning
Something goes wrong or falls to the wayside and a tidal wave of guilt rushes over you
You start to feel burnout and overwhelm HOW DO I FOCUS ON ALL OF THESE THINGS!?!
And your old comforting habits come back into play.
Repeat after me.
One. Thing. At. A. Time.
You do not need to activate all or nothing mode when it comes to personal development!
It doesn't serve you, it doesn't serve your mindset, and your life suddenly feels like its trying to hold up too many things at once.
But if you do one thing at a time,
Make slow and mindful 2 degree shifts in your life,
Your whole world starts to change.
Seriously.
Because you're chunking in down into manageable pieces, you're able to celebrate your successes more, you're able to balance a WHOLE lot more.
And that's when this turns into long term change rather than quick hits off the personal dev high.
