Trauma & Metaphysical Principles: The Healers Café with Dr. Manon & Dr. Thomas Ashton, MD, ABVLM
In this episode of The Healers Café, Dr. Manon chats with Dr. Thomas Ashton, MD, ABVLM.
For over 40 years, Dr. Ashton has been an M.D. and a general surgeon with a trauma specialization. He now trains others on metaphysical principles. As an author, he writes that suffering has many forms. Be sure to check out Dr. Ashton's book, "Living Above the Chaos."
Highlights from today's episode include:
At 6:10 - Dr. Ashton describes how his first patient as a trauma surgeon was declared DOA, dead on arrival. However, he said no, we're not going to declare her DOA. (A 17 year old female who had rolled her Jeep in a Southern FL canal.)
At 8:23 - "This is a for-profit hospital. We don't practice on corpses."
At 9:51 & 10:20 - An emotional moment as Dr. Ashton recalls what got his first patient - and himself - through the 36 hour ordeal. "I turn it over to you."
