🦊 In 1979, when he played Elvis in John Carpenter's Elvis, Kurt Russell was still mostly known for appearing in live-action Disney movies like The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes. A couple years later, when he appeared as Snake Plissken in Escape From New York, he also voiced Copper (the hound) in The Fox and the Hound. He revisited the role of Elvis in an uncredited voiceover in Forrest Gump.
