Michael Farr welcomes Jim Iuorio from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange to give his opinions on the wobble we've seen in the markets. Jim says the technical indicators are telling him that the last few days have shown a consolidation, and he's looking for markets to begin moving upwards again. Dan Mahaffee joins for a discussion of the new Congress, and how the reconciliation process the Senate is exploring works. Expect some grandstanding, but Dan says a big stimulus package will work its way through in the next two months.
In our special guest segment Michael talks to Robert Frick, Chief Economist from Navy Federal Credit Union. Bob has a front row seat to the K-shaped economy, both the surge of a rebound, and the pain in those left behind. He provides great insight into the two factors holding consumer confidence back, and in both, COVID is king.
