We now officially have the first quarter of 2021 under our belts. There was a lot of transition, emotion, change, and productivity out there… And I see you all making it happen. So, today, I wanted to share with you a powerful message by way of a little story about the Chinese bamboo. When you plant the seeds for the Chinese bamboo, it takes five years for any type of growth outside of the ground to actually happen. Watering the seed in the ground for FIVE years without actually seeing any progress. And then what happens? In the first 6 weeks of the fifth year, it sprouts 90 feet in the air. So some people, if you ask them how quickly does it take for Chinese bamboo to grow, they will say it takes six weeks. But the wise ones, the ones who really know, know that it takes five long long years. And what happens in those five years of watering the ground? The roots under the ground are growing deeper, and deeper. When you’re having moments of doubt, feeling discouraged, or something isn’t happening at the speed you want it to happen at, remember: you have to keep on watering the ground. Good things are ahead and are waiting for you. Keep on showing up, and keep on evolving, Entrepreneur.
