Roderick shared with us his journey from Macon to Germany, including the “instrumental” role Mrs. Zelma Redding and Karla Redding-Andrews played in his music education and in supporting his dreams. He spoke of his process, his gratitude, and his own initiative, The Roderick Cox Initiative, supporting youth in the pursuit of their musical aspirations, just as the Otis Redding Foundation supported him.
