Joe catches up with an old friend - the Real Madrid head coach Pablo Laso.
The two played together in Vitoria-Gasteiz, as well as for the club that Laso has so far led to sixteen trophies, including two EuroLeague championships.
There are plenty of stories from their time as teammates, plus we get a fascinating glimpse into the mind of the twice Alexander Gomelskiy Coach of the Year as he discusses some of his most significant decisions and biggest games.
Laso reflects on how Real Madrid conquered EuroLeague in 2018 with a hugely depleted line-up and about his part in the emergence of Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic, who swapped the Spanish capital for the NBA after that title.
He also talks about his excellent playing career (Laso still holds the ACB records for most career assists and steals) and the decision to leave his hometown club Baskonia to join Real Madrid.
