21: Episode 21: AI and the future of storytelling

Take a bite: In line with Esquire Singapore's April 'Artificial Intelligence' issue—an industry-first that enlisted the help of an AI bot to help write and curate stories for the magazine—we discuss the influence and impact of AI on the future of storytelling with GS Jackson, head project lead for creating AI Editor Squire.

With the return of Ben Hopkins (after a super long hiatus) we start the podcast with the hosts discussing Ben's nutri-ceuticals company, Bioonics; Debra's recent work with Singapore's Textile and Fashion Federation's (TaFF); and the launch of Esquire Singapore's fully digital Big Black Book—the go-to men's style bible now available on your mobile as a URL-based interactive microsite.

Before closing, the podcasters reviewed the 'Forcefield' supplement from Bioonics. Yes, listeners, Bioonics, as it turns out, is real.

Our regular hosts Debra Langley (fashion and tech consultant), Ben Hopkins (health entrepreneur and founder of Bioonics), and Norman Tan (editor-in-chief of Esquire Singapore) share what they've been up to since the last podcast.

02:43—"Coffee Catch Up"

Ben shares about the development of his effervescent tablets to optimise health through his company Bioonics—"bubbles that do things".

Norman introduces and teases the launch of the digital style bible—Big Black Book 2019—which includes interactive fashion shoots, illustrated animations and playlists; all accessible through your smart phone.

13:31—"Fresh off the grill"

Feature segment with a new guest each podcast.

For this episode, the podcasters discuss how the Esquire Singapore April 'AI' issue was created with the addition of an AI editor to write and curate stories for the book.
