I feel the future is scary--especially when I begin to worry about the "What If?" questions. Looking at the news and hearing about the potential of World War 3 is incredibly frightening. If I think about all the implications long enough, I can begin to spiral down a rabbit-hole of branching outcomes. This same level of worry can happen even with small things.
As I get older, I have found that I need to have a bigger picture in my view, but I also need to appreciate the everyday moments. If I worry about what could happen, I will get myself into a horrible mental spot--which I have been in many times before. I don't know what will happen after I send this email, but I can appreciate that I have the chance to write this while sipping coffee and listening to The Mandalorian soundtrack.
One final thought, sometimes that future we worry about doesn't turn out how we thought it would. To get these by email, as well as the latest content from Dragon Powered Studio, signup at TheAwesomeGnomeLetter.com
