Hi, I'm Jon and I'm legally blind. It occurred to me that my experiences and feelings about my vision might be shared by others so I created a podcast to start a conversation about what it's like to be visually impaired in a largely sighted world. One of my most popular episodes is about limitations. Both those placed on us by others and those we place on ourselves. I posited that the way that we adapt to our limitations is what makes us unique and gives us the ability to tdo what we want. On today's show we explore the types of adaptations that we may be called upon to make in order to make things happen. Along the way I've included some personal anecdotes about how I have adapted and continue to do so in order to accomplish things that I and others never thought was possible for me.
