James S. Jameson, heir of the Jameson whiskey distillery, recently went viral in 2021 when a story from 1890 surfaced that he paid 6 handkerchiefs to watch a girl be eaten by cannibals. But, is there any truth to this? In this episode we’ll go over the affidavit provided to the newspapers and see how it compares with Jameson’s own journal entry of this gruesome incident.
