The Salem Witch Trials is one of the most famous cases of witchcraft in the United States, but few people are familiar with the witch trials that happened in Abiquiú, NM in the 1700’s. In this episode we’ll talk about some of the events that led up to the church getting involved, the results of the Church’s investigation, and how the inquisition punished those who had been accused of witchcraft.
