ANDY MILNE is a charismatic PE educator who has hopped the pond from London to Chicago! He’s also a speaker, blogger, and was named 2017 Health Ed Teacher of the Year.

As soon as you hear him speak, you’ll understand why Andy is a Teacher on Fire! In our conversation, Andy shares about the experience of leaving education for a period of time in order to rethink his purpose and core identity. He offers some sage advice about how teachers can bring energy, creativity, and empathy into their classrooms, and speaks to his recent focus on marginalized learners. He also talks about the profound importance of sleep and rounds out our discussion with some of the voices and resources that shape his thinking and inspire his practice today.
