For his final sermon with us, the Rev. Dr. Richard Floyd spoke about the story Jesus tells in response to a man who asks him to settle a family feud over inheritance. As the saying goes, “You can’t take it with you!” So what do you do with it? Let’s listen and stretch our religious imaginations.
Also, next week Rev. Rebecca will be back in the pulpit from her maternity leave! And on Sunday, August 25th, everyone is invited to join us for “Beach Sunday,” an outdoor service on the Little Compton Town Landing. At this service we’ll do our traditional “blessing of the backpacks” and everyone will be treated to free ice cream! Hope we see you there!
