Episode 22 with Jed Baker, PhD of The Social Skills Training Project
⭐️Talking about social skills groups for young people with autism, sensory and social challenges.
⭐️Jed shares strategies for families and educators to proactively support challenging situations
⭐️We discuss the Sensory Friendly Movie event and programming that encourages sensitivity in schools, the community and job sites.
It was a privilege and pleasure to talk with Jed Baker, PhD about his social skills training groups and support of young people in our community and beyond. We discussed how support of people with special needs is a mutually beneficial goal and he shared some of his thoughts about active ways to support people with autism and other sensory challenges - both in the ways we think about behavior and in how we respond to behavior.
