He made his first mobile film with an iPhone 4s and won an award which inspired him to start his own film festival, teach mobile filmmaking and write a book. Today, he is an expert with the growing movement in mobile filmmaking.

Max is a true believer in the art and opportunities of mobile filmmaking for the independent film industry. His passion for the industry is geared toward the artistic and personal potential of making films with smartphones. In our podcast, we discuss several points of view about storytelling with film and the impact of film in storytelling. The democratization of filmmaking using smartphone cameras and the influence of the process in the traditional indie film industry and the Hollywood industry.
There is much to think about in this conversation with Max as we realize mobile film is much more than an opportunity for filmmakers who cannot afford a camera!
