Retaining the Passion: Supporting Newly Registered Nurses
A very personal episode for Clare and Craig. First, Clare talks about completing her preceptorship, and Craig discusses his guest lecture opportunity at his former college. Next, they interview Clare's preceptor Rachael Hughes, a community psychiatric nurse and deputy manager. Following this, they speak with Laura Wilson, Lead Nurse for Medicine, who interviewed Craig for his current nursing role. Both Rachael and Laura talk about their experiences of supporting newly registered nurses throughout their careers and what this means for their practice. Clare and Craig then reflect on these interviews and their hopes and aspirations going forward.
