Rotary District 7210’s World Peace Fellow Chair and Past District Governor in 2001-02, Betsy Kopstein-Stuts (Poughkeepsie South Rotary Club) discusses The Rotary Foundation’s World Peace Fellow scholarship program that trains people in conflict resolution. Each year 60 Fellows from around the world are selected for the program and can choose from seven universities to get a Master’s degree related to peace. Available only to non-Rotarians, applicants need a proficiency in a second language, among other requirements. Professionally, Ms. Kopstein coordinates academic internships at Vassar College.
