La conclusione della storia del maggiore Hugh Ballard e della sua missione Corona nella Langhe piemontesi. L'inverno è ormai alle spalle ed è tempo, finalmente, di contrattaccare. I partigiani sono numerosi, ben organizzati e molto agguerriti. Dopo un ultimo tentativo nemico di spezzare la Resistenza, le bande passano all'offensiva, scatenando la battaglia per liberare numerosi città del Piemonte meridionale e chiudere le forze nazi-fasciste in una sacca. Come sempre, le cose non sono così semplici a farsi.

The ending of Major Hugh Ballrad' story and his Corona mission in the Langhe. The winter has passed and the time for a counter-attack has finally came. The partisans are numerous, well-organised and battle hardened. After one last attempt by the enemy to break the local resistance, the bands go on the offensive, battling the Germans and the Fascist forces to liberate many towns and cities in Southern Piedmont and to close the enemy into a pocket. However, as always, things are not as easy as the seem.
