Micah Herskind - Abolition as a Theological Imperative
If we are to take seriously the jubilee Jesus came to bring, how can we be content living in a police and prison state? This week's guest Micah Herskind is an abolitionist currently in Atlanta, GA. Micah was the cocreator of the #8toabolition campaign in the summer of 2020. He is the organizer behind an outstanding slack channel for Christian Abolitionists. Micah is currently working on the Georgia Freedom Letters Project, which builds solidarity and power across prison walls in Georgia through letter writing and political education.
