. He is also, since 1998, a weekly on-air contributor to the current affairs radio program and podcast, This Is Hell
, which airs on WNUR FM 89.3 at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. He’s co-founder of the Chicago fringe theater troupe, Theater Oobleck, now in its 37th year of staging original work, and has written, produced and performed in Chicago in numerous productions for various companies. His plays have been produced in Los Angeles by The Actor's Gang, Zoo District, and Sacred Fools. He was co-writer and co-producer of the feature film Basmati Blues
and is currently developing several screens and TV projects for Red Baron Films. Who is Ganesha: Ganesha is the elephant-headed Hindu god of beginnings, who is traditionally worshipped before any major enterprise and is the patron of intellectuals, bankers, scribes, and authors. Ganesha is potbellied and generally depicted as holding in his hand a few round Indian sweets, of which he is inordinately fond. He has a large Indian bandicoot rat, which symbolizes Ganesha’s ability to overcome anything to get what he wants. Ganesha is a remover of obstacles.
