As much as I love podcasting, there are some statistics I find troubling. Specifically, there's the fact that podcasting is the slowest growing "media" medium... ever.
Why is it that more than 70% of the population think that it's just not worth their time to check out podcasts?
Part of the problem is the conflation of quality and popularity. Just because something is "the biggest", it doesn't mean it's "the best".
Worse, often times "the best" isn't palatable for those who assume that they don't need (or won't like) the content.
We can fix that by only suggesting shows that deliver "I Had No Idea" experiences. Do you know any? Go find some. And listen to this episode to learn more. ----- I make shows for professional firms that support business objectives. Visit https://podcastlaunch.pro for more info and ways to get in touch!
