Chris Colabello, author of Be A Hitter: untold secrets from the clubhouse abut becoming the best hitter you can be, played 7 years of independent professional baseball before signing with the Minnesota Twins. Chris went on to play for the Toronto Blue Jays, and Cleveland Indians. His father, Lou, played baseball in Italy for seven years, pitching in the 1984 Olympics. Look for Chris to play in the WBC (World Baseball Classic). and hopefully the Olympics.

2013 – started the year at AAA Rochester and was named International League MVP, Post season All Star and Topps Minor League All Star
Made MLB debut on May 22 for the Minnesota Twins
2014 – American League Player of the Week in the first week of the season
Set Twins franchise record for RBI in April (27) passing Kirby Puckett
2015 – Claimed off waivers by the Toronto Blue Jays
Helped lead a record setting Blue Jays attack to its first post season birth in 22 years while batting .321, with 15 home runs, and 54 RBI
