And how do the likes of Brooks, Hoka, and New Balance stack up? Dr Dustin Joubert (@labratrundown) has done the study every runner has been waiting for - the Super Shoe Study. 

Dr Dustin tested twelve runners using seven carbon plated "super shoes" and a control shoe (Asics Hyperspeed). Each runner was tested four times in each shoe. The results were conclusive as to what shoes you should be buying if you want to smash your PB without needing to get fitter! Listen in to find out which shoe is the fastest.
