Dave Proctor: Outrun Rare and Quarantine Backyard Ultra

This podcast is an interview with Dave Proctor, a Canadian ultra runner. I met Dave when I was living in Calgary in 2018. He is a lovely guy as I’m sure you’ll find when you listen to the interview. Dave works as a massage therapist in Calgary and has achieved many records in the ultra-running world. As part of Outrun Rare, Dave attempted to run across Canada in 201 but was thwarted by injury. He was planning to attempt this epic run again this year, but COVID-19 put an end to that, as it has to the entire race season around the world. Dave talks about this and how he has pivoted his disappointment into the creation of another challenging event! Listen on to find out all the details of this event that you can be a part of!!!
