As we approach the end of the year, it’s a great time to reflect on what to do moving forward, what knowledge to acquire that you might not have in the past year, and what decisions need to be made to make 2022 better.

In my own personal reflection, I realized that it would be helpful to share a little bit more about Google’s recent updates and how they affect your PT website rankings, especially so you can make the right changes in 2022.

The biggest change over the last year that we’ve made for our website clients is the transition from mobile-friendly to mobile-first in response to Google’s changes that have largely moved ranking and indexing to be based on mobile websites rather than desktop versions.

Mobile-friendly websites just aren’t cutting it anymore, because they are adaptable to mobile devices but not designed to work the best on them. And how your website works is one of the major considerations that Google has for your ranking.
