Market watchers say part of the gap's been caused by an extraordinary number of workers choosing retirement. And the Now and Next team reached out to Loblaw for clarity on the grocer's plan to freeze prices on No-Name products. We got an answer. At best it was an automated bot response. At worst, some human answered without understanding our request.
