Are you ready Nic, Tys and Videotape listeners?!?! It's time we talked about Superhero movies, so we introduce to you, "We Are Groot" Vol #1, our chance to talk through the movies that make up our favourite genre. For our inaugural volume of "We Are Groot", we've decided to take a look at Tim Burton's second extended stay in Gotham City, BATMAN RETURNS!! It's certainly the most bonkers Batman movie, (or maybe that title will forever belong to Batman '66) but does it still hold value in the current climate of gritty realism and Christian Bale's vocal nodules? At least there aren't Bat-nips in this one.
We get classy and stuff as we talk a new Agatha Christie adaptation in Talkin' Trailers, we fall down a early naughties wormhole in WDYWTW, plus we've got an indie dramedy and a surprise Oscar-contender to recommend for you in Crossing the Streams.
As always here are the ways to get in touch with us if you would like to suggest a film for us to talk about, or to ask a question to be featured in our MAILBAG segment:

And to kick us off (get it?!?!...kick!) we're going to discuss the movie that taught us the exact amount of crying that exists in baseball, A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN!!
