And we're back! After last weeks little technical hiccup it's time for another full length episode of Nic, Tys and Videotape. This week, its all about the Muscles from Brussels, as we talk the 1991 action classic DOUBLE IMPACT! Tys reminisces about his childhood fascination for J.C.V.D., and specifically karate kicks, Nic explains his secret hate for movie themed raps that accompany end credits, and we both feel nostalgic for a time when action movies could get away with pretty average action scenes and rely almost entirely on their charm.
We also give a taste of what will surely be a much larger future conversation on film scores in Talkin' Trailers, we discuss that weird patch of the 2000's when every 2nd film released was some kind of sports drama in What Did You Watch This Week?, recommend two drastically different kinds of movies in Crossing The Streams and celebrate the triumphant return of our MAILBAG with a question on questionable taste!!
As always here are the ways to get in touch with us if you would like to suggest a film for us to talk about, or to ask a question to be featured in our MAILBAG segment:

NEXT WEEK!!! It's time for a weepy, something that's gonna get us all having a good ol' cry into our beards/fake beards. And where else would we turn than to THE NOTEBOOK, the 2004 film adaptation of the novel by Nicholas Sparks, the movie that made every man and woman on earth stand up and say, "Break me off a piece of that Ryan Gosling man-cake thank you very much". Tune in then!
