The first Next Level Sketch podcast episode of 2021 comes almost a year to the day on from our first ever live performance, which actually feels more like 8,000 years ago. Oh well! We have some fantastic sketches for you this year and we’ll put them into your faces any way we can. Episode 14 of the Next Level Sketch podcast features sketches written by Flex Toomey, Paul Creasy, James Walsh, Julia Middleton, Luke Beahan, Rachel Cader, Roderick Millar, Daniel Smith, Zoe Browne, Muireann Kelly and the semi-mythical John Dredge.
It also featured the voice acting talents of Vic Dry, Cody Whitaker, Ben Fortescue, Euan Brown, Greg Davies, Jimmy Jameson, Sarit Wilson Chen, Dan Willis, and Jess Carrivick.
The songs and jingles were written by Jess Carrivick and James Walsh, and the theme tune was written by James Walsh and performed by James Walsh and Rebecca Diez.
We used zapsplat.com for some excellent sound effects, and the music in the Sheep sketch was “Action Strike” by Purple Planet
