#120 - "Mental Health - Guard Your Hearts and Your Minds in Christ Jesus.”

Please be sure to mention the mental health month. We are sure you will agree with us that Crystal Tavenner's hope shines brightly before us, as you notice in her friendly, thoughtful, faith-filled voice that despite her mental health challenges, it is well with her soul. Crystal is an atmosphere angel and an expert in the mental health field because of her own journey. Mental health challenges are something she knows and has lived. Her courage to remember why she fights to live and doesn't give up is inspiring and such a gift to all who know and love her. We here at Mothers Who Know adore Crystal, and we are so glad she is here to strengthen and bless us.  Crystal has a gift for bearing testimony of our Savior whenever she shares her thoughts. This comes from years of relying on Him to ease her burdens and assist her in her mental health journey. Crystal currently serves as a class administrator in one of our four Team Mom Power groups, and as tech support for mothers who need assistance to level up in their tech savvy, so they can participate comfortably in our MWK resources. She has a beautiful mothers heart, a loving empathy for others, and she is a gifted, natural teacher.

She is a poet and creator of inspiring resources here at Mothers Who Know.  Please take a look in the show notes.

“Don’t give up…Don’t you quit. You keep walking. You keep trying. There is help and happiness ahead…You keep your chin up. It will be all right in the end. Trust God and believe in good things to come.”
Jeffrey R. Holland

Because Jesus walked such a long, lonely path utterly alone, we do not have to do so.”
Jeffrey R. Holland

“Fighting through darkness and despair and pleading for the light is what opened this dispensation. It is what keeps it going, and it is what will keep you going.”
Jeffrey R. Holland

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:6-7

The semicolon has become a symbol of hope for those fighting the battle of mental illness ~ A semicolon is used when an author could’ve ended their sentence, but chose not to.

The author is you and the sentence is your life.
