If you ask him why does it seem like the photographers always catch you at the worst times, well, he might tell you it's by design, because that's when you're at your most struggling, giving your most effort. He also shares some of his most harrowing shooting sites, including filming during a lightening storm, while trying to take care of an aide station, while filming, during a lightening storm, after hiking 30 kilometers in. Yeah, he does that. You won't look at race photography the same again and you'll never pass another photographer on the course without thanking them!
