He uses a Sound Devices 633 and 688, power distro is Audio Root, Zaxcom wireless and he uses the RF Vue spectrum analyzer to see the wireless RF spectrum. Gene also uses the Sennheiser MKH50, 8060, Neumann KM150 and Schoeps cmit5U. He also uses dpa 4063 lavs and COS-11 lavs.
