It's a full house on this episode of the KollabCast. This week we welcome the full cast of East West Player's production of Vietgone, the critically acclaimed play by Qui Nguyen about his parent's love story in a relocation camp in Arkansas after the fall of Saigon. Paul Yen, Sylvia Kwan, Jane Lui, Scott Ly, and Albert Park share their experiences working on the play, and Paul and Scott share their thoughts of playing Vietnamese refugees as Vietnamese American actors. Also a bonus anecdote featuring Andy Lowe, East West Player's Director of Production.
Watch Vietgone, playing now at East West Players in Los Angeles AND opening soon at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre in Winnepeg!
Intro & outro music for this episode is “MouseDeer” off the album Letters to Ubin by Kollab Alum Inch Chua
