Raffaele Vacca is a sociologist and data scientist at the University of Milan, Italy, in the Department of Social and Political Sciences and the Behave Center. He is also a courtesy faculty member in the Bureau of Economic and Business Research of the University of Florida, USA, where until recently he was an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology and Criminology.

Most of his work is concerned with social networks, migration, and health in Europe and the USA. Raffaele is especially interested in the way networks of social interactions, relationships and support develop in immigrant communities and shape immigrants’ lives and health in different countries.

Raffaele Vacca es sociólogo y científico de datos de la Universidad de Milán, Italia, en el Departamento de Ciencias Sociales y Políticas y en el Behave Center. También es miembro de la facultad de cortesía en la Oficina de Investigación Económica y Comercial de la Universidad de Florida, EE. UU., donde hasta hace poco fue profesor asistente en el Departamento de Sociología y Criminología.
