Leticia Barbosa graduated from UNGS Buenos Aires with CLACSO scholarship and obtained a Doctorate in Political Sociology at UFSC with CAPES exchange. She had a research instance as a visiting professor at FLACSO-Ecuador during her doctorate. She has been working at Unisul for the last 10 years, occupying various positions ranging from teaching to coordinating and managing courses. She collaborates with the Network of Investigators in Social and Solidarity Economy (RILESS). She is a researcher at NESFI-Nucleus of Socio-Political Studies of the Financial System at UFSC and at Revitalizing Cultures at Unisul. She is also part of the CLACSO Study Working Group on the United States as a researcher, and works with the Homo Serviens Institute.

Leticia Barbosa e graduó en Relaciones Internacionales en Unisul, se especializó en Desarrollo y Gestión de Proyectos Internacionales en Puc-Minas, realizó Maestría en Economía Social en la UNGS Buenos Aires con beca CLACSO y obtuvo un Doctorado en Sociología Política en UFSC con bolsa CAPES. Tuvo una instancia de investigación como profesora invitada en FLACSO-Ecuador durante su doctorado. Sus últimos 10 años a estado trabajando en Unisul, ocupando diversos puestos que van desde la docencia hasta la coordinación y gestión de cursos. Colabora con la Red de Investigators en Economía Social y Solidaria (RILESS). Es investigadora en NESFI – Núcleo de Estudios Sociopolíticos del Sistema Financiero en UFSC y en Revitalizing Cultures en Unisul. También forma parte del Grupo de Trabajo de Estudio CLACSO sobre Estados Unidos como investigadora, y trabaja con el Instituto Homo Serviens.
