Vincent Lorant is a sociologist, political scientist and economist. He presented his PhD in Public Health in 2002, "Inequalities and inequities in mental health and care". He is currently a full professor of medical sociology and health policies at UCLouvain. His research is related to inequalities in mental health and adolescents' health. Over the last decade, he has been applying social network models to investigate health behaviour inequalities or disseminating health care competence. Vincent Lorant explores the relational drivers of health behaviours or healthcare practices. He has participated in several national and international European Research projects.

Vincent Lorant es sociólogo, politólogo y economista. Presentó su doctorado en Salud Pública en 2002, "Desigualdades e inequidades en salud mental y atención". Actualmente es profesor titular de sociología médica y políticas de salud en UCLouvain. Su investigación está relacionada con las desigualdades en salud mental y la salud de los adolescentes. Durante la última década, ha estado aplicando modelos de redes sociales para investigar las desigualdades en el comportamiento de la salud o difundir la competencia sanitaria.
