Mustapha (Name geändert) wächst als streng gläubiger Muslim auf. Alles andere kann er nicht akzeptieren. Allerdings fasziniert ihn an Jesus seine Sanftmut und Liebe und die Aussage "Liebe deine Feinde".
Die Ehe der Eltern ist schlecht, die Mutter bitter und unversöhnlich gegenüber ihrem Mann. Im Traum erscheint dieser Frau, die noch nie eine Kirche betreten hatte, Jesus, der sie auffordert, zu ihm zu kommen. Sie gehorcht und nimmt Jesus in ihr Herz auf. Von da an wird aus der ehemals bitteren Frau eine liebevolle, aufopfernde Person. Die Familie ist baff. Nach längerem Ablehnen nimmt auch Mustapha Jesus an. Sein Leben verändert sich radikal.
